Massage

Holistic therapies are an integral part of the treatments that are offered at Shapers, and usually take place in the relaxing therapy rooms located at the back of the salon, ensuring personal discretion for the client at all times. Michele Pethers and Elaine Stokes specialise in holistic therapies at Shapers and offer unique and personal treatments ensuring the individual needs of the client are always met. Massage for couples or friends wanting a treatment together are also available upon request. Group pamper evenings can also be catered for.

Michele has worked as a massage therapist for 18 years; she specialises in massage of all types and is well known for her holistic and sensitive approach to treating clients with particular problems, especially those with problems in the neck and shoulder areas and clients suffering from stress.

Elaine has worked at Shapers for 5 years, and as is qualified to a high level in both beauty and holistic therapies, and as well as offering deep massage therapies she offers a wide range of specialist Dermalogica facial and body treatments. Bespoke treatments are also available combining massage with Dermalogica treatments.

INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE

A very relaxing and therapeutic massage carried out while seated. Indian Head Massage helps to relieve tension from the upper back, shoulders, neck, head and face. Circulation in the scalp is boosted and this helps to alleviate persistent headaches eye strain and hair loss. 25 minutes £25.00

REFLEXOLOGY

Reflexology is a massage treatment for the feet whereby each section of the foot relates to a different part of the body. A treatment which is very good for balancing the body. A very relaxing massage, using pressure point technique on the feet which can aid many stress related conditions.
